Golden City - West Palm Beach

Golden City’s shrimp fried rolls are really tasty with fresh crisp veggies & there were shrimp in every bite! I went back for a 2nd roll. The fried pork rolls were delicious as well with a light taste & crisp veggies. I’m not sure why the bad reviews of the past but for my 1st visit there, it was a pleasant experience. I’ll go back this weekend for some lo mein & fried rice with the family to make sure it wasn’t a fluke, lol. It’s the best I’ve had in years!

Really delicious food and great service. The hot and sour soup was incredible, the egg fried rice was perfectly seasoned, the shrimp spring roll was perfection. Our main dish, tofu and veggies, was yum. Portions were generous.

I'm Chinese and always looking for decent for Florida food. Yes it is hard to find in Palm Beach County. This place is good! Tasty and I think they are Cantonese if that makes a difference to you. Homemade egg rolls that are decent given the price.

First time getting takeout and I was happily surprised. I found the flavors of the food (Schezwan beef) fresh, the vegetables had a nice crisp bite and the sauce had a rich taste. I am not a connoisseur of Chinese takeout but the flavors of this one set it apart from the "usual" taste of the takeouts I have tried in the past. Give Golden City a try, especially if you go to Home Depot or the medical center on Palm Beach Lakes Blvd.

My new favorite Chinese takeout! I drive a distance to come here because it's worth it. What I love is that it's not oversalted and I don't detect MSG. Ask to add garlic or soy sauce for xtra flavor if you want. Generous, large chunks of meat. Vegetables are fresh and plentiful.

First time i tried, i get the same combo from pretty much every Chinese restaurant (general Tso chicken dinner) ask for extra sauce and spicy. Not a huge drastic change but you wouldn’t believe how many places will screw that up, they didn’t and it was ready in 10 mins like they said, and it wasn’t huge pieces of chicken you have to cut into a million pieces either. Great portion of chicken to rice and I’ll easily get 3-4 meals out of something that cost me less than 10- well 10 with tip. How many places can you get that anymore? Worth the try.

Their Singapore Noodles are the best and great portion size for 3 persons. Yum ....Also their special fried rice OMG is honestly the best one I've tried in years, the taste to me is like the closest to a good Caribbean Chinese restaurant, so try it. Their prices are good as well! ...

Best takeout Chinese around. A great mom and pop place that serves up some awesome food. Reasonably priced and solid portions. Combo platter with fried rice is probably enough for 2 but you won't want to share. House egg Foo Yung rocks as does the sweet and sour chicken and pretty much anything else I've had there.
